I am such a big insta addict! It`s my total happy place for unicorns, chanel and everything pretty in the world. So be sure to follow…. UlrikkelundL
And remeber to share yours! Thanks for following angels xx
The other day I found this moschino phone case and just had to have it, as I`ve been looking a long time for something doable to protect my precious precious iphone 5 haha. It`s only the biggest bonus ever that it matches with my Chanel bag!
Hi angels. I am not as depressed as I look (luckily), just a bit tired after a long week. I just did a whole Milano guide for you guys with my favorite spots around the city. Anyone ready for it?
The last week has been so crazy with shows, dinners and parties, today I could finally snuggle up on the couch and enjoy some old movies. Every girl needs to fill up on her inspo once in a while. Ps, both L`amour Fou about Yves Saint Laurent and Rust and Bone was amazing, promise to check it out if you find the time..
Now, Buona Notte xx
From outside my apartment here in Milan yesterday, when it was nice and non-snowstormy. Today I miss that! Anyways, I wore a very red affair kinda outfit, and almost pulled what I call a “Naomi” with very little underneath haha. Pared with some Baroque jewelry and sunnies it was a perfect match for yesterday`s day out in Milan.
The Baroque era is one of my favorite times is history. It always makes me feel I was born too late. Way too late. Ahh what would I not give to be able to live in the days of the petticoats, corsets and the the French Revolution!
I only do two types of shopping; 1) To make me happy and 2) To make me happier. Milan is such a perfect place for that, today I found these Miu Miu glasses I`ve been drooling over for what feels like a lifetime. Happy hippo!
Serious?
Noup!
Hudson had a great party at the concept store excelsior here in Milan tonight, and now I want all their jeans!?
I am so easy haha. But I mean, how amazing does Georgia look in these pair of striped denim. Wants it needs it, now good night! Milan is just to much of a good time… zzz
I dont know why, but I like my jackets huge. I like em`big. The bigger the better. As you probably know, My Surface to Air jacket is a HUGE fave in the outerwear department of my wardrobe. So the Max Mara RTW collection was a dream come true in my eyes. It reminds me of horseriders, russia and my boyfriends wardrobe. The layer on layer on more layers here is probably too much for most people, but just perfect for a norwegian fashionista who also likes to keep warm and comfy!
I think you know by now, It`s all about wedges with me.. Now I am so inlove in these Alexander Wang croc.effect wedges, I dont know what to do with myself. They are so simple and classic, dont you think?
My bags might have been stuck in London, but this lovely dress was waiting in my hotel room yesterday.. How pretty is this intense flower pattern? I cant wait for spring to come, so I can wear more of this kinda happy clothing. The weather here is so funny, yesterday it was sunny and 10 degrees, today, snow! But who cares, I am in Italy, I am so happy.
I just moved my stuff to the apartment I will be staying in this week, and it is a classic old and majestic Italian building with the prettiest courtyard. Now I have to run, will try to share some photos of it tomorrow. Have a lovely day
I had a rocky start to Milan Fashion Week as I landed today and my luggage with outfit and so on for the Gucci show that was supposed to start in a couple of hours, was gone(!). It is still gone actually, hope it will arrive soon. Walking around Milan in your travel gear when everyone else is so stylish, is not a dreamy situation haha. I swear, I felt Anna Wintour killing my outfit and greasy hair with her eyes when she walked past me earlier today!
Anyways, it´s great to be back in Italy again, and the shows was really great. Now, I will totally hide in my hotel til my bags get here. Haha fingers crossed!
I just got back to Yotel after a morning down in Soho with friends. We had a great breakfast at Le Pain before we stopped at Acne and Alexander Wang, then I headed to meatpacking to check out the new Kurt Geiger shop. I try to keep up on what´s happening around here, new things pop up everywhere, everyday.
I have so many photos to show you, but so little time right now. My flight leaves from JFK in a couple of hours, so I have to get going. If I have some lounge time at the airport, I will blog these pictures we did at Yotel yesterday. This hotel in the middle of NYC is such a cool place, with their events, robots and crazy smart rooms! The vip suite is insane, the view, bathroom(s), pool table, spinning bed, fireplace and balcony with a hot tub, it`s almost to much to handle in a city where space is so limited!
This NYC trip went by so fast, I cant tell you how much I am going to miss this city (again), when I get home. It`s such great energy and diversity here, I cant even put it into words.
Can anyone guess my next destination? Hint; Fashion week!
I don`t know what it is that makes New Yorkers all over the city get up and out of bed on a Sunday afternoon to go drinking, when the rest of the world cuddles up on the couch, but I`m glad they do! The summer I spent in NYC I did a few to many Sunday brunches, I guess it`s easy to get caught up in the party game. I actually think I partyed myself out that summer, so I almost never go out anymore, but this sunday we just had to! Yotel was doing their Sunday brunch, AndrewandAndrew was playing, Ian Sklarsky, the blind contour artist did our portraits. I got to wear my new Rag&Bone hat, and I finally got some boobs haha.
We had the best time, a bit too many mimosa`s, and a very interesting shopping session downtown after all those mimosa´s… Most. def doing this again!
I just got news that I won Norways best Fashion Blogger back home. Such a big deal, I am so happy, thank you guys! Need to celebrate this shit! I dont know why, but I feel like quoting one of my idols right now, Diana Vreeland; “You know the greatest thing is passion, without it what have you got? I mean if you love someone you can love them as much as you can love them but if it isn’t a passion, it isn’t burning, it isn’t on fire, you haven’t lived.”
Big kisses
The first day and I spent it on 5th, playing a local and trying on bags at Fendi, before hitting Central Park for a little Photo shoot with Christina. Again, it feels so great to be back in one of the best cityes in the world. I cant tell you have happy I am here. Everything is so crazy. Now, I`ve had the longest day , so I have to get to bed now, as I have an early shoot and some great lunches to attend tomorrow. And I really need to take some time in the lobby, sit down and write some more about what`s happening over here! Cant wait, talk soon angels!
PS: I know it is blog awards at home today, so sorry I cant make it. Hope everyone who`s going has a great time! Have fun for me, go mad!
With lovely Christina
Today I discovered The Mandarin Oriental hotel up with Central Park, as we went there for tea, treats and an amazing view. What an awesome place to relax in the city. If you find yourself midtown, this tea room is a m.u.s.t. do. Enjoy life.
Other then that we have done the 5th avenue route, down towards SAKS. We were in such a rush but I managed to grabb some stuff with me, like the coolest Rag & Bone hat. Cant wait to show you. Other then that I also discovered the Plaza Food court. How could I not know about that?! The entrance is so discrete (under the amazing plaza hotel, you know, where they did the Home Alone movies), but when you get down, it`s the most amazing place for food geeks. Packed with food lovers looking for the new high haha. I had the most AMAZING pasta with meatbolls and garlic bread crumbs, and we we`re chatted up by some lovely New Yorkers. And, we had the Honour of doing a Red Bull City break today… in the same room as… Foo Fighters! I was doing my best pretending to be the coolest person in the world not even noticing the uber cool band, but haha, turns out, Im not that good at keeping up a fasade. Great first day in the City. I did not realise how much I`ve missed NYC, can I like stay forever this time around?
