Thanks to Freudian Kicks in Oslo for sending me this Petit bateau+Carven dress, it is such a classic from one of my favorite brands. First I was like; This piece is WAY to classic for me, but as soon as I put it on I had a change of heart, it just needed a little accessorizing and dressing down, that`s all. And I will take any chance I get to wear this Africa Collection jacket!

I am trying to keep up with my new years resolution to do more home stuff in the blog. And as you know, turquoise is on my mind. Like, really. I see no other colors! Turquoise is like drops of candy for your home. That is that. I could not be more happy with the paint job I did the other day. I think I am even going all turquoise in the living room. It`s just color. It`s just color. It`s just color- I keep mumbling. And yea, I want to order EVERYTHING in this collage I did for you guys!

Happy happy lucky girl me! My boyfriend just brought this home from Paris, and I am starting to suspect he is a major Chloé fan…. I wonder if he`s trying to pull some kinda Chloè type Kanye West inspired `make ur girlfriend match yourself better` makeover.. Haha, because I would love it!!

shopping for a new season

I was doing some lunch Shopping at Galleriet the other day, thinking about boosting up my winter gear.

Remember, it is still months of cold and winter left! My shopping turned out to be a very beige/nude/brown affair, but in different materials. The knit beanie I just had to have, you know I am the biggest beanie collector ever!! It is from Accessorize, and so is the structural strap on bag. The sweater I found at H&M, and I just had to bring the fluff home! Pretty cute huh?

Turquoise paint job

Time to get real.

I had some news the other day that sort of ruined my 2013 spirits for a moment, when my spirits was sky high to begin with! Me and my +1 was going to rent out the appartment and leave Norway for a while, well, a LONG while, to go… everywhere. I live for travelling, it`s what gives meaning to me, where I feel content and happy. Being on the road. But we had some very bad news, and the trip was not in the cards right now. So now there is waiting until summer. Then it hit me, I will be stuck in Norway for many months to come!! What to do, how to deal!?

In a perfect world, these things would never happen, but it did. We wont be in Singapore in two weeks, but here, in rainy Bergen.. Hard to wrap my head around. So Whenever I get bad news like this, I need drastic change, and I need my fix fast. This time, more drastic then a stroke of dramatic purple lipstick will give me. That is when I realised a couple of things (shortcomings) about my home. A) I am so young B) I am lucky enough own my home C) I cant waste this on doing something classic! Ten minuted later I was in Jernia buying the most Turquoise paint I could find, think Anna Dello Russo Turquoise. And it`s going on my walls!! NOW! I love doing stuff like this, suprising myself! Might be a quick fix for my wounded adventures heart, but it will do for now! By the way, thank you so much for all the Brit Awards/shopbop votes, it means the world to me that you are all so supportive!

Now, It is time to make this home personal as f* for the next months to come,**

and nothing is better then a little DIY!

Husker dere denne galskapen?

Det var så gøy sist bakgårdssalg at vi kjører på igjen! Jeg har helt glemt å si ifra, og nå er det bare en uke igjen! H.e.r.r.e.g.u.d. Håper jeg ikke er for sein og at dere allerede har booket up hele helgen deres neste uke?

Denne gangen har jeg teamet up sammen med Cathrine, og det blir litt av en event.. Håper dere kommer og hilser på! Hele gangen min er nå fyllt med nedpakkede esker med klær, og denne uken er det mye å gjøre klart til lørdag. Det blir konkurranser og kos, ikke minst, utrolig mye stash. Så bare dra dere selv opp av senga tidlig på lørdag, møt opp klokken ni om du vil være tidlig ute og kapre godbiter, kom senere om du bare vil titte innom og si hei! Vi kjører til og med på med fancy køsystem denne gang, så slipper dere vente ute i kulda! Gleder meg!

Clarion pre party

I just started working with Clarion, and before Costume Awards on thursday they gave me the Chic suite at Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania. I just say; View, Sauna, huge porch, A bed fit for ten=perfect place for a pre party! I was so busy this visit, next time I hope I have time to actually enjoy all of the luxuries. My outfit choice was all white worn with my little Chanel. Haha I felt so horrible the last Costume Awards, I feel it was expected of me to wear something just as weird this year as well, so I went for a more classic look. Before the awards Cath came over, and we had an awesome time.. See you again soon Oslo!

I won best blogger! Did not see that one coming at all, me and Cath we´re just going for fun night out, and this turned out almost too much fun (if possible)! After the awards we went out and had the best drinks at Aku Aku and that is where the to much fun everywhere part started.. Who knew winning an awards would make such a perfect night? Can style be learned? Is there a style or look better then the other? Classic and chic, or more dark and dirty?

You know where I am going with this. The season for awards, fashion shows and predicting the new year visually is heading towards me like a star on the loose. Tomorrow I am going over to Oslo for meetings, but most importanly, hmm, I mean MOST FUN, Costume Awards is going down. The first of many parties, shows and happenings to come the next couple of months, haha I am slowly starting to move beyond the edges of tiny Bergen again. But the Costume awards got me thinking, The nature of Awards is awesome, talented people should be given some cred for spreading the happy message of fashion, but what it comes down to, for me, it`s all equalle in.

I guess that is what I am trying to say with this blog, just.. Always wear whatever you feel like. Dont ever ever copy trend rapports or shop what people are telling you, because you are so much better than that! Shot me for bringing them up, but I loooove the style of the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, because they can wear WHATEVER and just look so god damn perfect, they have that walk and everything down- such cool girls.

So do whatever you want and please, because fashion is one thing, but when it comes to the style of a woman, It`s all equalle in, and A is never better then B or the opposite.

Now, I cant wait for a tiny weekend of fun in the big city! Talk soon angels!!

After being sick all of last week I guess I am in an über glamorous mood to brighten up the cold days. So out with the patchwork faux fur and golden Baroque glasses from Dolce & Gabbana! Whenever I need it I pull out theese glasses, because they are oh so pretty pretty, and reminds me of better (hotter) days in Italy.

Despite the Glamorama factor, my day was no adventure. I`ve just been sitting in front of the desk A-L-L -D-A-Y long working, until I had a decorista moment and redecorated my appartment for like the 700 hundred time. But hey, at least I got to go outside! And Oh.. yea… I cut my hair short again! Haha I always do that! Now I really need to go to sleep, early strength training is happening in some hours, and I`m not even in bed yet! Talk soon angels
