Da var jeg på vei til Oslo for noe jeg liker å referere til som super-møter. Føler på meg at dette blir en good day, og kjenner på det å være så heldig som får så mye gøye sjanser. Fashion for the win. Håper alle puster inn og nyter helgen.

When buying a two piece suit, wheter it be a pair of pants and jackets or skirt and tops, you should really think about finding something that works together, but also seperated. Like for example; The other day you could see me in this skirt paired with a loose fit knit from Urban.

Anyways….

Did you see the Vera Wang show just now? A friend invited me with him to see it in NYC, so it was almost a bitter experience watching it from my home!! But, very beautiful, offcourse..  I feel so inspired right now!

New York has grown to become a huge part of my life after my first trip there in 2010, and since the trip today was cancelled, I went trough my photo files and picked out some old favs. Hope you like it. Ps: Thank you so much for all your heartwarming comments.

Hi! I hope you`re all doing well! I just got home from Nåløyet in Oslo, wearing my Asos Africa collection suit and superunderwear, dressed for comfort and cold! A great night with lovely Cathrine and Annette, but now I am SO knackered after this 12 hour trip to Oslo, needs to jump in bed ASAP if I want to wake up for my meetings early early. For a long time in my youth I was walking in some sort of valley where fashion comes to die. If you ask me what is the difference in my style now from when I was 16 I could say, growing up, but to be honest, I have seen the light. The light being; every wardrobe needs good basic stuff to work! Before I would want everything sparkly and special, but nothing really worked together, it was like looking at a universe explosion. After investing in basics such as denim, tees and knits, my wardrobe works together. I can have a complete look and trust on my bags, shoes, jewelry and so on so give an outfit the little extra.

So…. To the coats, my favorite basic piece. Jackets and coats is my favorite thing in the world, probably because we live in cold cold Norway, I cant ever have enough. My Helmut Lang trench with shoulder pads is a well used classic, but lately, oversized coats have been on my mind all the time. The first thing I would do coming into a store was to scan the venue for big coats haha. In Copenhagen I found this Beautyfull thing at Topshop, and I am beyond pleased with the bargain. Perfectly oversized and gentleman inspired.

I won best blogger! Did not see that one coming at all, me and Cath we´re just going for fun night out, and this turned out almost too much fun (if possible)! After the awards we went out and had the best drinks at Aku Aku and that is where the to much fun everywhere part started.. Who knew winning an awards would make such a perfect night?
